Project 812, the 13th of the series (unlucky for some, but not us because the weather was glorious) began on Sunday 19th August 2007. Participants received their briefing from the Epping Forest Centenary Trust at their HQ in the Warren.

In the evening we barbecued (luckily there was no food poisoning, followed by a traditional Scouting campfire.

On Thursday we cracked on with the work on our site. Even the local press got wind of what we were up too and visited us at Lord's Bushes. In the evening we led our colours in procession to take our athlete's oath to start our very own Mini Olympic Games.

On Friday we spruced up, and showed off our handiwork to local dignitaries. In the evening we held a talent show, which you could probably regard as the forerunner of the X-Factor. All good things come to an end, which is also true of Project 812, so it was also time to say our goodbyes for another year.
